Most are what you would call pretty ordinary with the same old standards. But near the turn toward Khao Yai Land View just before the park entrance, right in front of Wat Pa Khao Yai, is something a little special. A very plain looking shop with pla pao, salt encrusted fish roasted on the open grill. A large whole roasted Talapia is 150 baht and it is simply delicious, sweet and moist. It is a great item to pick up for a picnic or to take home to your weekend home at Khao Yai Land View.
